For coding, billing and follow-up, NMBS charges a percentage of collections, which varies based on volume and specialty. For all other services NMBS uses a contracted flat rate. We do not charge setup fees, however, there may be computer hardware costs. There are two options available to you. You can use our software on our servers and connect using a HIPAA compliant VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection or we can install a computer on your network and connect via VPN into your system. We will provide a number of standard reports every month and offer ad hoc reporting as well. Yes. We charge a flat rate per case depending on your case mix and volume. Yes. Our certified professional coders are very experienced in conducting annual ASC coding audits. Yes. We complete the state reporting requirements as a courtesy to our clients.
